Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Professional, polite and courteous to the company’s internal and external customers at all times promoting the excellent image and reputation of the company.
  • Assist customers in locating and selecting the appropriate spare parts for their needs.
  • Answer customer inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, and compatibility.
  • Process sales transactions accurately using the store's point-of-sale system.
  • Receive incoming shipments of spare parts and verify the accuracy of the delivery.
  • Assist in unpacking, sorting and shelving parts according to the store's organisational system.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Notify management of low stock levels and assist with reordering supplies as needed.
  • Help with the assembly, packaging, and labelling of spare parts as required.
  • Assist in maintaining security measures to prevent theft and ensure the safety of the store assets.
  • Ensure that the store and warehouse areas are kept clean, organised and free of safety hazards.
  • Sweep, mop and dust the sales floor and storage areas as needed.
  • Keep shelves, displays and product labels neat and presentable.
  • Dispose of packaging materials and cardboard boxes in designated recycling areas.
  • Inspect goods received for quantity and quality standards as per the already established procedures.
  • Verify and check items received against catalogues and manufacturer’s identification and models.
  • Check regularly the inventory levels and prepare requisitions to replenish the stock.
  • Perform stock inventories and maintain all related records for inventory control and future estimates on the designated systems.
  • Organise for deliveries of products as and when required.
  • Perform Store transfers and transactions on SAP.

 

Qualification & Experience:

 

  • Minimum SC
  • Computer Literate 
  • Ability to work odd hours and under pressure 
  • Good attitude 
  • Dynamic and motivated 
  • High sense of integrity 
  • Reference from previous employers is required
