Intermediate players on the other hand benefit from mid-sized rackets (95-100 square inches) with balanced weight for improved control and the opportunity to hit those point winning power shots. Finally, if you’ve been playing for a while you’ll know that the smaller sizes (85-95 square inches) provide the ultimate power and consistency for your game.
Grip is Important too!
The right grip size for your racket not only helps you play better, it can also keep you safe from injuries. Wondering how to know which grip is right? It’s simple, all you have to do is measure the distance from the tip of your ring finger to the second crease in your palm (that’s the one which goes across your palm) and you’ll have a good indication of the right grip size for you. Keep in mind that a grip that’s too small or too large can lead to discomfort and reduce your ability to control the racket.
